A military veteran with over a dozen deployments, Eli uses these overseas experiences to fuel many writing ideas. She is 1000% a starry-eyed dreamer with a bleeding heart, & is the owner of Abra Kadabra Ink, a boutique publishing company which donates 25% of book sales to different non-profits. She rescues animals on the side & has plans to establish a retreat space/non-profit for animals & veterans

Megan is Eli's Girl Friday. They are soul sisters/sisters in arms & had the pleasure of serving together Downrange. Megan has the important & not so easy task of reining in the butterfly-brain that is Eli. She takes Eli's visions & make them come to life. She is an avid reader & a force of nature who adores Highland Moos & Monster energy drinks. Eli thinks everyone should have a Megan (but you'll have to find your own)
JESS

Jess is a powerhouse of non-stop good ideas and is always ready to give a loving nudge to Eli to challenge her to take that next step towards bigger things. With vision as big as the Himalayas & organizational skills that are both mind boggling and impressive AF, Jess has single handedly taken Abra Kadabra Ink international. Also a sister in arms, Jess and Eli connected over their deployment experiences and have now combined superpowers to see how much they can change the world. (And yes, Eli does have a couple of smoke-shows as cowokers)

This pair of best friends are 2 of Eli's first rescue horses. They are social media stars &Â high maintenance business associates. They are the highest paid members of Abra Kadabra Ink but we won't hold it against them
RUDYARD KIPLING & EDGAR ALLAN POE
HR Department. Rescue Horsies 3 & 4
Kipling (right) & Poe (left) are sweet old gentlemen. They keep us balanced &Â centered but aren't afraid to call us on our shit if we step out of line. Poe is a bit bashful & Kip is brazen as the day is long--this good & bad cop routine makes for one hell of an HR department.

Gothic Poems Department
Easily the laziest coworkers, but after 13 years, they have Tenure and cannot be fired. They oversee the Gothic Poems Department and are always very critical and condescending.
CAIRO

She ensures Eli gets scary-dog privilege's and gets a good nights rest so that she can come up with more magical stories. Eli busted Cairo out of doggy death row (the euthanasia list at a kill shelter). Cairo is an Australian Kelpie. A Kelpie is a magical water horse in folklore, so basically, she's perfect for Eli.
